Capoeira workshop in Berlin 10-12 oct

Welcome to Malandragem da Capoeira 2014!

Malandragem da Capoeira is an international Capoeira meeting, organised by Professor Ganso and the students from the group Preservação da Mandinga in Berlin.
In this year’s edition there will have plenty of movement and roda trainings, music, maculêlê and samba de roda classes, many capoeira rodas, and a berimbau making workshop given by Mestre Ulisses. There will be an advanced training directed to the Instrutores and Professores. There will also be the the batizado and graduation of the students of the group in Berlin.

Next years International Encounter

Roda in Brighton

As some of you may know our group, GCFA, organises an annual international capoeira angola encounter. The encounter moves and is held in a new location each year and is organised by the local núcleos. The first encounter took place in Brighton, England, in the summer of 2001. Since then the encounters have been in; Lyon, France. Giróna, Spain. Berlin, Germany. Valencia, Spain. Torino, Italy. Stockholm, Sweden. Brighton, England.

Next years encounter will be held in Berlin, Germany, and the preliminary dates are the 15th to the 19th of July 2009. So mark it down in your calendar and pass it on.
